•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Thomas Blanky is a man of average height and build, with grey-brown hair and beard. His eyes are grey. He has a Yorkshire accent. He smells mostly of soap, though for the first couple of days he's on the Barge, he may smell faintly of rot and illness.
Blanky mostly wears his uniform or, for variety, a white shirt, blue waistcoat, and blue trousers. Most of one of his legs is fake, though only the foot is visible, since his pants hide most of it.
•DEMEANOR: Blanky is generally a cheerful man, not given to dark moods or grousing. It takes a lot for him to get angry, though when he is, he's still calm. He's been around enough people in crises to know how they tend to act, and knows the best ways to keep morale up.
•ABILITIES: He's an ordinary human in all ways. His one standout skill is ship navigation, particularly in the ice.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's got one leg and one leg stump, which was until recently gangrenous. He was also, until recently, suffering from scurvy, lead poisoning, and starvation.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door to his cabin is the door to an interior cabin on HMS Terror, plain wood with a number on it. Inside is his cabin on the Terror, a small room with a bed, desk, and bookshelves. The one change is the door in one wall that leads to a small bathroom.
